Dina Dwyer-Owens is the Brand Ambassador of Neighborly (formerly Dwyer Group). America also knows her for participating in CBS’s Emmy-winning hit reality show “Undercover Boss.” Dina is a certified franchise executive with more than 35 years of industry experience, 15 years as CEO of Dwyer Group. That business, known now as Neighborly and headquartered in Waco, Texas, is the world’s largest parent company of 21 home service brands and nearly 3,500 franchise owners in nine countries. Dina is the author of two books: Live R.I.C.H. and Values, Inc. that both share her global message for living and leading with a proven code of values.  

Dina Dwyer-Owens serves as Brand Ambassador and Board Member of Neighborly (formerly Dwyer Group®) after serving as CEO for 15 years. America knows her for going undercover as a participant in Season 3 of CBS’ hit reality show, “Undercover Boss”, in an episode that broadcasted Sunday, Jan. 22, 2012.

Dina is a certified franchise executive with more than 37 years of industry experience. Dina is the 2010 past chair of the International Franchise Association (IFA). In her role, she testified on behalf of small business owners before the United States House of Representatives Committee on Small Business, was a guest speaker to the China Franchise Expo in Beijing and shared the stage with President George W. Bush at the 2010 Annual Convention for the IFA, among her more traditional duties.
Dina also spearheaded the reintroduction of the IFA’s VetFran program in 2001, which now includes some 650 franchisors that offer franchising financial incentives to veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces. To date, more than 6,000 military veterans now own a franchise through the VetFran program. In 2002, the IFA awarded Dina the Bonny LeVine Award, the IFA’s highest award for women who mentor other women and advance the careers of women in franchising.

In 2005, Dina launched the Live R.I.C.H. (Respect, Integrity, Customer focus and Having fun in the process) campaign to promote the company’s Code of Values® and released her book, “Live R.I.C.H.: How to build success in your company and your life with a proven Code of Values”. In 2015, she released Values, Inc., which was chosen as a Top Ten business book by Forbes. 

As Brand Ambassador aka Head Cheerleader for Neighborly, Dina speaks on stages across the globe, is regularly  interviewed on leadership podcasts, and has been featured in leading media outlets including Inc., USA Today, Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Los Angeles Times, Fortune Small Business, CNN, International Herald Tribune, Working Mother, Ladies’ Home Journal, FOX Business and more.
